College for Kids is for students entering grades 1-5.

Middle School U is for students entering grades 6-9.


STEM Overnight Camp

Students Entering Grades 7-9

June 17-21, $400

A program offering hands-on experience in genetics, chemistry, ecology, and computer science. Create friendships, experience college life, and explore possible career paths. Students stay overnight at Campus View Housing just across from the Richland campus.

Amazing Robots

Session A: July 8-12, 12:30-3:30pm

Session B: July 22-26, 9am-noon

Best for ages 8-10

Build an amazing robot (yours to keep!) with custom parts, program and control it remotely, and complete the Amazing Robotics Challenge!


College for Kids/Middle School U

July 15-19, $99

COLLEGE FOR KIDS runs 9am-noon and is for students entering grades 1-5.

MIDDLE SCHOOL U runs 12:30-3:30pm and is for students entering grades 6-9.

Get a taste of college life through fun programming in the arts and sciences! Students choose their top five choices from ten topics. (Though the topics are the same, we’ll do age-appropriate activities with each group). Summer 2019 Choices: Basic First Aid/Survival Skills, Budo, Bugs/Entomology, Disc Golf, Grossology, Improv/Theatre Games (MSU Only), Rocks & Gems/Geology, Summer Safari/Ecology, Tokyo Day Trip, Writer’s Workshop


Art Academy

July 29 -August 2, $125

Students entering Grades 1-5 9am-noon

Students entering Grades 6-9 12:30 – 3:30pm

A program for the budding artist to explore various media. Artist’s showcase on Friday gives students an opportunity to display and discuss their work. Activities: Puppetry, Circular Weaving, Art Selfies, Sashiko Embroidery, Dorodango Pottery
